ABOUT ME
My original background is in Ecology and Marine Biology. I have worked in the field as a marine biologist and oceanographer for a number of years collecting data at sea in various parts of the Pacific and Indian Ocean.
At St Andrews University, I completed the 1-year Master's program on Marine Mammal Sciences and then got into a PhD program for Ecological Statistics. Now I work there as a postdoc on various projects. I am also part of the lecturing teams for the distance sampling workshops and the statistical modelling workshops.
